Specialized Shiv, Triathlon bike.
The Specialized Shiv triathlon bike was relaunched last year at the Kona Ironman World Championships. It has taken some time for this bike to reach our shores but this week we can now offer new models. The bike has had a massive change from the previous model Shiv that was around for over 6 years. The internal drink system is now at the rear of the bike, the aero bars now fold down, making bike travel a lot easier than ever before. There is a new food box located on the downtube to keep all your race day nutrition safe and easily accessible. The biggest change we can see is that all the models are now coming standard with disc brakes and thru axels. All model bikes are for “electronic” builds only. Years of testing in the Specialized “win tunnel” and feedback from pro triathletes like Lucy Charles and Baden Currie have brought this bike to market.
It is available in the S-Works complete bike which features Sram wireless components and Roval SLX carbon wheels or a Shimano build spec with Dura-Ace Di2 build.
A S-Works frame Module and a Expert model [pic below]which features Shimano Ultegra Di2 components and Roval carbon C38 wheels [which can be set up as a tubeless system]
Expert models available now with S-Works models coming in late August and early September.
